On the off chance...does anyone know what the "power management" on Siemens/Neff/Bosch induction hobs does? Its found in the hidden settings. I think it implies it limits power of the hob, but it has no detail of how or why in the instructions or online documents.


Any ideas?

I'm hoping it'll allow a 7.2kw hob to work on a 5.5kw supply without tripping (temporary).

From looking at the manual, it does seem to be exactly that - an option to set the maximum power that the hob will use,
