Maybe not as good as it has been but something with car in it is just about better than any other crap on tv.
TG mag, plus said in previous series says P1 vs 918
I'm hoping for the P1 to come out on top, I may feel a bit silly about my ordering of a P1 otherwise.

It would be far better if tailored for people who are enthusiastic about motor vehicles and knowledgable about them also, rather than fantasists in Mondeos or Insignias.
The car football (etc.) is utter garbage, along with all the daft races from A to B (car against pushbike against train against boat against plane etc.) which aren't actually races because speed limits say so or the whole thing is daft (plane challenges).
Something like the Reliant Robin feature, however, shows that there can be features that do work on all levels.

Didn't watch the last series at all (first time ever)
Thought the 2 part christmas special was dire..
gave up half way through the 2nd part.

New series of Top Gear, my predictions will be this.
It'll be three guys fannying around in various cars, with very little reporting done.
Most will still look forward to watching it as it's good entertainment, myself included. Some will not look forward to watching it but will watch it anyway just in the hope that it's changed it's format and suddenly become more interesting, but we all know that it hasn't but the haters will watch it none the less.
Those who have enjoyed it will contribute to a thread on here saying how they enjoyed it but the thread will be spoiled by the haters who will jump on the bandwagon say how crap it is and dosen't feature enough normal cars.
Every episode of the entire series will go like this.

Good point.And I'm sure 99% of us dont want a review of a Mondeo,rather a stunning Alfa 4c and some banter and in fact all the cracking cars.
those that want boring,just buy What Car? which seems to get more boring every issue (dont buy it now!)
