Default Bin lorry crash in Glasgow

Deeply saddened by this and a year after the Clutha crash tragedy too.

http://news.sky.com/story/1396706/bi...s-and-one-male

It's been said that one of the females was "visually" pregnant too.

Then some sick f**k goes and puts this up...

Can't access it.

Do they have any idea what caused the crash yet?

Reportedly the bin lorry driver was slumped over the steering wheel and not looking up/around him as moving along.

Read someone say a heart attack.

In total shock at this. My wife and her family were in The city centre when this happened and you just think of the worst. Luckily she was ok but my heart goes out to the loved ones of the poor people that won't be coming home and also the injured.

The junction that this happened on is always mobbed with people coming out the station and so it could have easily been a lot worse.

My heart goes out to everyone affected by this its so sad and people should just take a moment to look around them and think how lucky they are to have loved ones around them as this proves any second and it could be all too away

i didnt bother with the facebook link as thats site is full of attention seeking pr1cks at the best of times hence why i steer clear

Thats the media for you. Really wish a bin lorry would run over all the crappy journalists instead for publicising guessed up assumptions and implying they are fact.

Driver could have any number of health issues to cause him to lose consciousness

I would imagine it's based on the fact that it is more likely to have been a heart attack than say, a broken finger nail.

To be fair Ali they didn't mention Muslim terrorists once so I am actually quite impressed

Very unfortunate for the ones involved and their surviving loved ones.

3 of the dead from one family - Grandparents and granddaughter.

Absolutely terrible and heart wrenching.
