Home alarm recommendations
Hi Guys
Do you have any recommendations for a home alarm system?
In this day and age, I'm leaning towards a wireless install with internet monitoring (unless you an think of a sound case to go wired).
It's a 4 bed detached house, 3 external doors - no garage.

It depends on what wireless alarm you get as 6 years in all my sensors are fine on their original batteries, I think in todays climate don't go mad on your alarm I've seen lots of cases where neighbours don't even look up when alarm sirens are going off! Just make sure you have a bell box that looks like a kebab shop sign and you'll be fine!
IMO all any home securitysystem needs is a "it's not worth it" put off wether it be a well lit box with flashing LED's etc or some serious looking signs just enough to put any would be ****** of enough to try next door instead!

I'd go for a wireless system with speech dialler built in, something like the Visonic Powermax. Batteries should last close to 3 years and are only a couple of quid each to replace.
