Default MY03> STi rear wing - what are the options for de-gaying it??

Im looking at a JDM STi9 and have never been keen on the high rear wing.

I like the Type 25 one, and the low level one. Question is, where would you get one from? (T25)

Guess you would have to change the whole boot lid due to the way the STi one is fixed?

Has anyone done this?!

I dont like it too, changed mine for a 06 WRX boot and WR Sport Rear Wing (Prodrive - mid height), ive probably knocked 1k off the value of my car though.

Try Scott Lowe for the rear spoiler:

http://www.scottlowe.co.uk/Scripts/p...?idCategory=21,

If you need a WRX bootlid with just the 4 holes that the SL spoiler fits send me a mail, only if you have a Blue Scoob though, its off an 06.

Thanks

I'm not a fan on the huge spoilers either, or the gold alloys for that matter. I love the rest of the styling though except the interior trim that is. Which is why I got a WRX instead of an STI.

Anyone got pics of the other spoilers fitted?

LOL, so you don't like the wheels, the spoiler or the majority of the interior. Is there anything you actually do like?

Ha ha, it doesn't sound like it! There is though. I like the bumper mouldings, fog covers, not sure over the huge scoop, but the single exit back box looks better than the twin one that came on my WRX.

I just think the STI has a lot of the elements that we would mock on any other car, imagine all those on a Saxo! If I would have got an STI i'd have gone for the Spec D

Well, if you decide to buy, i can have my taiilgate delivered to youand yours collected should you wish, i have family near bournmouth, well half an hr away.

mine is white, its an 05 model, with the 4 holes for the WRX spoiler, and its currently debadged, but i have all the badging.

The only other thing i would say, is to swap the gas lifts if you wouldnt mind, the ones on the WRX are weaker due to less weight of them having to lift.

Justt let me know if you want to do a deal.
