I just wondered if anyone would be interested in going to see
the hill climb at shelsley walsh.
There is a big meeting on 16 - 17 august.
It could be a good day out and we could finish it off with a barbie afterwards.

Anyone up for it

Greg

Thats fine.
I just thought i would put up the idea early so people could
plan ahead.
I have always fancied seeing a hill climb, but never got round to it.

Cracking idea!
I have sent off my entry, so am hoping to be competing (not in the Scoob though - too slow!!)
Should be a damn good weekend though - and likely to be rammed.
The event is a three day one. Practice on Friday, Timed runs on Saturday (like the standard event format) and the Sunday is an invitation only event - basically flash cars, cars with a bit of history, or drivers with a bit of history, or women!!

Steady on Greg!! What are you trying to say about the women at Hillclimbs? May be I should have phrased it differently!!!
I should be competing (entry permitting) in a Pilbeam MP43 2litre sports racing car.
I would post a pic but I'm not sure how at the moment.
I have a very intimate relationship with the banks and railway sleepers at Shelsley (the ones in the Esses in particular), so it will be a novelty for me to get to the top of the hill on every run over the weekend!

There are going to be classic ferrari's, masserati{dodgy spelling}

I'll be there in me RB5 looky-likey.
Not competing though - didn't get an entry - there were oversubscribed by 54 entries!
Sunday should be cracking.
Will probably make Saturday as well.
See you there.

Cool

I was there, but didn't see anybody!
Did see two WRC99's though - absolute heaven!!
There was some pretty smart machinery there, but the Scoobs were just the dogs!
