A bit of a lull with the car at the moment due to work / family commitments etc. Have'nt done much apart from replacing a faulty Coil Pack.
Though hoping to get the car prepared by end of October for a track day maybe. This will include:
-Change of turbo & Map tweek
-Modification to exhaust backbox
-Whiteline KSR206 Steering - rack & pinion mount kit
-Uprated grooved brake discs all round
-Braided brake lines & uprated brake fluid
-Maybe gauges & oil cooler-(if not now then at later date)

Update:
A couple of months ago, courtesy of MelTypeR and his white Hawkeye Spec C (my spec C's twin brother!), I managed to get hold of his old VF36 twin scroll turbo. When I say old it had done under 20k kms and was in mint condition. It had been removed by Litchfields who gave it a once over too & as you all may know was replaced with Litchfields LM450 twin scroll turbo. That turbo manged to push out over 460 bhp on Mel's Spec C!!! Maybe one day lolol
Almost new VF36 (roller bearing twin scroll turbo as on Spec C's)
The reason for this was that the current VF37 on the car was a bit suspect. Struggling to hold boost, very late spool (peak boost at 4600rpm), late peak torque & recently getting rattly at certain revs, lack of power & smoking quite a bit of blue smoke.
Old VF37 (sleeve journal twin scroll turbo as on JDM Sti's) now removed & showing signs of oil seal leak & a little too much play in compressor wheel,....all as suspected. But the turbo will live on with Mikee Singh (Qtr mile King of ScoobyClinic) who will use the twin scroll exhaust housing for his new SC46 Blouch/Scoobyclinic twin scroll turbo.
So after a call to Litchfields who supplied me all new turbo/exhaust gaskets free of charge, due to problems earlier with Forge actuator & call to Duncan @racedynamix a date was fixed for the turbo swop & map tweek....again!! lololol
A good choice for me to carry out the work was at DSA Automotive in Aylesbury, mainly due to the fact that they have one of the best Dyno Cells, with perfect temperature control. Also they are a reputable garage to do the turbo swop on site, 30 mins from my house & Iv dealt with Dave from DSA before. So in the morning the turbo was duly changed, Forge actuator swopped over & car road tested & checked over again. (While I sat and read through all their magazines & drank all their coffee in their customer lounge!!) Just finished in time for Duncan to arrive & within 15 mins started mapping on the dyno. The map tweek took 45mins, a little longer than expected as the old turbo was running & mapped quite differently due to the issues it had with it.
VF37 swopped for VF36 with Forge Actuator
So after a lot of time, effort & a fair bit of wonga over the last 6 months (god this car has been a struggle ) I have finally got it running right & as a twin scroll should be: Approx 350 ft\lbs max torque by 3500 rpm @ 1.55 bar boost. Almost half bar boost by 2500rpm. And 330bhp by 5500rpm @ 1.55bar boost. To put into perspective, my old mint Hawkeye Spec C with sub 20k miles on the engine made 343bhp @ 1.7bar boost. (though the Hawks do give more torque due to differing heads & probably slightly higher compression on newer engine)
The car is running awesome now, quick spool is where its at with newage JDM's, along with good torque starting early & over a wider rev range, this coupled with the JDM 6 speed box, DDCD auto diff & super quick rack now makes this a great everyday drivers car.
NB: All previous maps on this car & my old Spec C maps were done on Shell V Power & on differing dynos, though all have been Dyno Dynamics which are usually quite consistent from dyno to dyno. This current map above is now for Tesco Momentum 99 which is approx 3p per litre cheaper than V power. That coupled with 5p off per litre tesco fuel voucher makes it 8p cheaper per litre than V power & you get a sh&t load of Teso Club Card points every couple of weeks!!! lol

If you had the car re-run in "better" environment conditions, you should see an increase in power. It's looking like you're losing power at the top end due to the TMIC and heat, as it dies on it's **** from 5600rpm.
For information my old 2ltr SPEC C (with the VF36) made it's peak power at 6500rpm on two different DD Rolling Roads.

I think you are correct about the TMIC heat soak & a well spotted observation. As now comparing it to my other VF37 & older VF36 graphs , in those bhp continued to climb slowly till approx 6500 rpm where it would then flatten out. So I would imagine there could possibly be another 10 to 20bhp to be found at the top end still
-What did'nt help was the car was running for a good 30 mins prior to it going into the dyno while testing the turbo installation etc properly.
-The DSA dyno cell though very good, doesnt have the large tube type, fan extension that goes over the TMIC. (Like they have at the Powerstation dyno)
-Also I am not running any undertray on the car & have read that this can distort the airflow & air pressure going through the TMIC?
Ah well.....looks like a Harvey GT2 FMIC & CAIK may be on the cards,.....& not forgetting the map tweek & dyno session.......again!

This has been one of the reasons imo, why TMIC cars seem to show more BHP at PowerStation then they do at other venues. I would suggest this is purely down to the "better" air feed for TMIC users using PS's set-up, and not a sign of inaccurate measurement. It's still not as good as you would expect on the road, but is certainly better at PS than most other dyno's.
Continued running of a TMIC car on any dyno will increase heat build up..... even in a really good dyno cell as you just don't get the air volume around the car, like on the road.
I always found at PowerStation when I did all that development work years ago (on the original SPEC C set-up), that when the mapping was done on each occasion the car was left to stand for 30mins - 1hr (obviously with the engine off lol) and then re-run for a graph comparison.
Not a good idea to run without the undertray with the TMIC in place. You will be effecting the airflow to the TMIC, because of the pressure difference with the undertray not present.
Personally I would try and locate an undertray and not bother with FMIC & CAIK at your level for road use...... unless you decide to change turbos and go for 400+.

Looking good mate - give me a shout when you want the FMIC fitted and I'll give you a hand.
Of course, to make the most of the FMIC you'll need a stroker/forged bottom and and a bigger turbo to go with it

Great read & nice car Ricky as Shaun has said, if your staying at this power level the TMIC will be fine, but if you do fit a FMIC at least you will be ready for a bigger turbo, but if you get a bigger turbo you may need x, y, z & ............. it never ends does it

I dont actually think I need an SC42 yet, the car has now turned into a bit of lunatic , in fact there's nothing much in in it in terms of power between the Spec C. What it needs now is improved braking (discs/fluid/lines) & alignment again. Would'nt mind some coilovers though
