Default My Blobeye transformation

Hello, Purchased my Blobeye Gx Sport 2.0 back in July 2012 and this is the progress.

bought and cleaned.

Blanked fogs out.

De chrome and badged, dont know how that lock guard comes off :/

Badgless grill and coilovers fitted

At present

Thanks for looking a further few things to do including - Detango, pressed plates, Exhaust and manifold.

It was lower than the finalpic but could not get it back on driveway even at a heavy angle lol.

The lock is a one piece item so if you undid everything you'd just be left with a hole. I decided to change to the older circular lock barrel but you need an older boot lid to match the circular barrel. Can pick one up for around £30 second hand on here. Looking good though.

Looks nice, not my cuppa but good to see something different from the usual look. Could maybe do with some spacers on the rear... bring them wheels out a bit...
Also looks like you painted the fog covers with a rattle can. I'd defo get them painted properly, just my opinion of course but they look dull and off colour, stands out a mile. Just my 2p

Unfortunately there are those who like to cast a shadow over somebodies pride and joy whet ever the spec, it's your car at the end of the day. True enthusiasts appreciate a scoob as a scoob.

Just seen you are in Essex, bring her along to the next meet dude! Keep an eye out on the Essex forum on here

Was expecting to come and see how you transformed it into an sti replica, however I like that you didnt do this, the mods look really good, wheels look great.

Not a big fan of the wheels, the tyres just look too skinny, otherwise great job

Looks great - good to see a nice one in DBM - the same colour as my old bug - quite a rare colour for a blob

I think that's just the photo's Mike, looks WRB to me. I'm pretty sure that there were no DBM blobs out of the factory

Possibly not the turbo models - but I'm sure I've seen a dark blue blob sport before

I like it, except for the skinny tyres.
Blobs are a good looking car, after seeing this i might ditch my Aerodeck for a non-turbo Wagon.

Less is more

95H is 'deep' blue mica

Anyone know the highest mm spacers you can run before needing longer studs?

Cheers
