Slightly bending the rules here but at least the 330 (with new splitter) is in front of the Fozzie!

Don, does this mean all the bumper trims excluding the bumper skin itself come painted? What would the suffix be for the dark grey colour they did? I am looking at ordering and fitting the facelift front end and im currently gathering and double checking all the part numbers I need.

They used to, but as time goes by they become generic un-painted or in primer. The suffix becomes XX or they change the part number

Always worth checking though as they are still listed as such. Dark grey metallic is EN

Paint colour availability varies by year and model
Below are codes, with part suffix, available (in Japan) for their Impreza range (not just STi)

2008 (revision A)

2011(revision D)

You've seen this post from rob84 then (prices may have changed since then)

Thanks Don, Robs list was a good starting point although it looks like the dealer prices have gone up a lot since then, the bumper cover itself 57702FG213 is now £320.25 + vat. Heres what Subaru gave me for prices so far -

I will be sourcing the fog light bezels rather than the covers which I have found as 57731FG290 and 57731FG300 for lh and rh.

The Foglight assemblies are also different part numbers as mountings are different to earlier model.

Did you replace it with something else? I thought that you had the next draw stiffeners?

Does anyone know if there's a big rear wing available that doesn't require extra holes drilled in bootlid ?

330s is 330ps (325 bhp) with a Prodrive map.

not sure if it has a sports cat, as under the car it goes..

Back Box to center pipe, that fits to a pipe that just has the sensor on it, was told it would have the 2nd cat on their too
Not sure at a 'normal' STi hatch underside look likes with a exhaust configuration

Hopefully clearing up a few items

This is the official blurb on the 330S

It's the higher end specced version, further tweeked by Prodrive.
As stated 330ps equates to about 325 BHP, 469Nm equates to 346Lbft
However as was usual with Prodrive they tended to underestimate their figures. (as it was a generic, rather than specifc re-map)
Also, not all dynos are equal.

This is a dyno graph taken back in 2013 on a Maha rather than a Dyno Dynamics machine.
Standard 330S - not Salsa's

Still higher than the quoted figures.

The 272 figure shown here on the Boost (in psi) versus AFR graphs

is, I believe, the power absorbed by the dyno i.e. "power at the wheels" before the calculations are applied to convert the figure to engine power.

My own car at 340BHP engine power equated to 270BHP at the wheels on a Dyno dynamics machine.

330s doesnt have a 2nd cat, just a cat in downpipe plus 2nd decat pipe.

yes, that's the 'at the wheel' figure. graph is also showing Boost and the ARF.

344.4 bhp is at the engine.

the 330s also has the windscreen wiper heater elements. (they came std on the MY11 cars I think)

Std 330S wheels dropped off today for refurb.
What colour do you guys think would go well with the Dark Grey Metallic car? Thinking flat black? Or car body colour??

Also, what wheel nut fitting do I need - 12X1.25 I think, but is it 60 degree tapered or radius? Want some new black nuts to go with the wheels.

Thanks

I think the 330s wheels look best (on dark grey) in the colour they came in. Just not sure the silver is easily replicated.

wheel nuts... only McGaurd will do!!
I've the Black Edition on mine, but you can get the STi set too.

Go GOLD on the alloys if you have a dark colour car.

Default Bulbs

Hi gus...looking for a bit of help please I’d you wouldn’t mind...

Can anyone give a difinitive list of the different light bulbs / number codes on the hatch....as different sites say different things...

I’m trying to go for a full refresh on the front and rear:

bulb types I need are:

main/full beam

dipped beam (believe this is normal front lights, are these the xenon ones??)

Side lights ( believe these ones that come on when your turn the light **** just once)

front indicators

rear lights I have not got a clue what’s involved with the rear??

if someone could shed some light on this I would be very thankful.

Cheers,

anth

your Dipped lights are HID's so not sure you'd want to be changing those.

The main/full beam, I've swapped mine to the NightEye bulbs, you get on ebay about £21
https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_f...hteye&_sacat=0

side light bulbs are the normal 501 fitment
Rear fog and reverse bulbs are T20 size.
