ha yes and a Laile brake master cylinder brace which I fitted yesterday

The instructions were hopeless but I figured it out 🙈

The emblems I’m not sure how much they were not a lot although the most expensive item on the invoice at 6200¥ , I think that’s about £40

Nice. Has the master cylinder brace made any noticeable difference?
£40 is what I paid as well from https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-S...wAAOSwLVZV5XeY

it does feel like i have slightly less stroke on the pedal and the bite feels slightly higher in the stroke but could well be the placebo effect , I think with braided lines will male a greater improvement

but I can’t seem to find out the size of or get hold the drain and inspection hole gaskets / washers anywhere apart from icp and their prices are mental £5 for the gear sump bolt washer ,, I think the gearbox drain hole is an m26 ? Can anyone shed some light on this for me ?

Thanks alex

The headgasket went last month, so I have dropped the scooby off at thwaites developments racing in Warwick last week for a forged rebuild, cobra decat downpipe, cosworth panel filter and rcm fuel pump and, once run in, a remap. Place predictions on power outcome please! It already has a 3" cobra system in place, so will be 3" all the way through.

I would say maybe a lil more 360ish would be ok , interesting how your going uprated fuel pump , I’m still running the standard one at 415 hp / 415 Lbft I personally would go injectors over fuel pump just future proof the car a lil incase you fancy a bigger turbo at some point

The reason for fitting a new/better fuel pump esp with an increase in power is because the OE one has probably been on the car for a while and are also prone to failure. OE pump is also probably a weaker piece of kit.
You won’t notice the slight failure but can lead to delivering less fuel, car runs lean. Potential to go bang

Fit a fuel pump!

It was something Mark at tdr and Olly at rcm both said to replace, they suggested that the oem pump after 70k miles is now no longer likely to be performing as well as it was when new. 340 would be good, 360 would be fantastic!

be something I’ll prob look into in the near future , the rcmpump wasn’t available yet when mine was done ,, means getting to car mapped again tho need to think of some other upgrades to go with it , 🤔
it’s a slippery slope tho mate once you get the bug you’ll just want more and more haha

No Don, the letter doesn’t really say anything other than what I said.

^ there's a recall letter from Subaru floating around on the FB hatch group.

One I saw wasn't good enough resolution to read. Could a copy be posted so we can see?

You can just ring your dealer with chassis number and ask have the secondary air pump relay and brake recall been completed at any point

I went to fit the Whiteline rear subframe bush inserts today on my 09 spec C, but they didn't slot straight in, so the spec C appears to have different subframe bushes from the standard hatch. I also have a spare set of Whiteline diff inserts, as mine was already done, if anyone is interested

Not exactly true, it depends when Whiteline developed them.
The hatch STI (inc Spec C) rear subframe was in continual development on the Rev A and Rev B models having 8 different part numbers between 03/2007 when production began and 06/2009 when production finished.
