That's from the original dealer fit Subaru reversing sensor kit, it's the sounder & distance indicator unit.
I had one on mine before I got the dealer to remove it and replace the offside rear trim panel they'd wrecked by fitting it. Also the unit wasn't visible from the drivers seat so it was about as much use as a chocolate fire guard!

Has anyone managed to get the info from the ecu to show on there double din stereo? I want boost pressure but don't want to fit a gauge. Apparently there is an app that you can get for your phone. I'd like this to work on the display on my double din.

Main Beam HID Upgrade
Has anyone upgraded their halogen main beam lamps for something like these?
https://www.hids4u.co.uk/HB3-9005-HI...rsion-Kit.html
I know Salsa was fitting LEDs to his main beam, but I'm concerned about the cooling and the depth of those units especially as my route is often very wet!
These are supposed to be designed for reflectors and given we have HIDs fitted they should be within the law and not be a MoT fail.
I'm just looking for better light on the road for my daily commute over the Pennines, I've upgraded the dipped beam to the latest gen2 HIDs from Philips and they do make a difference, but they now highlight how poor the main beam light is.
Any thoughts or views appreciated...

The other alternate would be LED light bars either in or behind the lower grille area.
The Lazer Lamps lights are fantastic but rather expensive, but there are others out there
Notice the blue tinge showing in the main beams - uprated bulbs as well

set of Osram Night Breaker Unlimited's headed to me now to try out on the main beams, can't see it being much much brighter than current ones but I'll take any little increase I can get this time of year!
