Thumbs up Some New One's Of Mine Today (May-08)

Well after not posting any new full car shots for a little I thought it was about time to bring things fully up to date

How's this Frayz

I ran the PC over the car on Thursday followed by a fresh coat of Swissol on Friday ready for Japfest.... very pleased with the results as well even if I do say so myself

It was good to see the sun out today as this is a colour that comes to life in direct sunshine

It's a shame my camera is not the best at times like this I wish I had a quality one instead of a simple point and click.

Something new for me as well to show the engine up until recently it has not been a very good place to venture

I thought I would take more than just a couple to keep everyone happy

This I like....

Open...

Closed...

And see through... thanks James B

Finally...

How's that

Engine bay progress listed on this thread...

Looks the funkin nads Si, such a sweet ride. You have perfected the iconic classic Subaru look. Loving the new plate too, just sweetens an already awesome ride.

Said it before, say it again.

Clearly one of the best classics on SN.

Awesome

That colour can look really flat and boring if its not taken care of, these pics show what an amazing colour it is when it is treated properly. In the sun it looks so deep.

Its all the wee touches that add up to make such a big impact on this car.. I agree with Frayz here, one of my favs.

Cheers,
Grant

Hey gang what can I say.... thanks for the great comments it drives me on but I need a rest for a little while as I've overdosed a little lately

The OEM route was not planned but it seemed to be the way it evolved through the choice of mods and I like it ! it's been just over 3 years getting to where it stands today.... and I have to say thanks to Gary regarding insurance as it's a pleasure to deal with him, everything is declared it's the only way to go.

Frayz the plates are the icing on the cake for me... I know you've got them and I've always thought they were great and one of our local guys Glen has them to and when I'm following him they always put a smile on my face... what can I say resistance is futile

Grant your right about the colour it looks like nothing until you look after it, the rotory clean I had last year lifted it so much but it still needs looking after properly to maintain it... it's a full sun colour and even though we were so lucky with the weather at japfest the sun did not come out for us which was a pity because it would have come to life for the people that had a look at it on the stand.

As a reminder this was it 3 years ago....

Crazy

Trails I'm on my way now

Thanks everyone

One of the best Imprezas around. That is how you mod, with no PFF7s in sight!

This shot seems familiar:

Frayz If you were closer I'd give you a hand.... but I think your doing pretty damn good there on your own

Cheers Steve.... come on bud yours can get there to

Thanks mantazini

Here's a couple that where taken at Japfest, not by me I will add... I need to loan a good camera one sunny day for sure.

I'm going to run the PC over it quickly again at some point soon now it's really clean you can see a couple of areas that need that extra little bit more... then I'm going to PC my run about that should not take long it's not the largest of cars
