The first step was getting rid of the V5 version rear boot spoiler...
that belongs on a classic I think...and not on a Bugeye.
Dint want to mis a track day of course, so i did it without the rear spoiler...
Next was getting the WRC S7/S8 rear spoiler to fit nicely on the boot....
And the first step of my WRC S7 reecce replica was born...
Next up:
The search and purches of real WRC S7 CARBON mirrors...
Preview:
Round two:
The Carbon “WRC S7” mirrors…
This I found in England, with a guy who had bought it at a Prodrive auction for sick kids…
It’s the same carbons of Petter Solberg 2002 WRC S8 Impreza..
When I purshed them, there where a kinds off scratches on them…
After a new layer off clear coat, they look as brand new..
Some pic’s :

Round three:
The search of a replica WRC /S7 front bumper…
Japan, England, Australia, Canada, America, and where did I find it…In Belgium and it was manufactured in Poland !!!
This is the one I orderd…
Once it was in Holland, the project could really take off…
It was very good replica, also the Tarmac lip and turn signal lamp holes where there..
(was closed for street use only)
Next was the fitting on the car…

This wasn’t easy.. I must say !!
First we had to take of most off the nose…
We had put the two bumper’s together and saw the divergence directly..
It was shorter en wider then the standard WRX Impreza bumper…
Standard:
Replica:
I was so glad that I bought a real replica WRC bumper,
but all the work had to begin…
Here you can see why…
The fender, hood, hoodlock and vertical lock support had to been altered or removed…
Also look how wide it is.. it’s 2 cm wider at either side..
We couldend wait to see it finished ..it’s my mate who was the strong one…
To be continued…

Okay, it had to made longer and not as wide..
I did not want to do the fender’s and arches of the WRC,
because it still is a street going car… (never say never…)
The test fitting:
Also the turn signal holes must be opened off course…like the original WRC!!
