At a guess i'd say stone chips to the glass as they will be chasing cars quiet close...

I heard that the perspex screens were there to deflect the wind so that the roof lights didn't get ripped off at high speeds? Not sure how accurate that is though!

I assumed they played table tennis when not on call.
Now I shouldn't be so stupid as to believe what I see in films, BUT... In Tokyo Drift, they say the police don't chase you if you can drive faster than their cars. What about the Skyline, lol.
