Default PIC REQUEST - SUB & AMP INSTALLS IN WAGONS

As the title says. Anyone got a sub installed in the boot of their wagon thats preferably not just a box in the corner?

I need some inspiration before I attack the MDF with a jigsaw!

here you go, i put this in last june...infinity bass thing with a separate remote so you can turn the bass down on your separates and just use the sub...remote means you don't get any of that bloody BBBBBOOOOOO BBBBBBOOOOOO from the outside.

its got a ten disc auto changer and bottle of tyre weld (!), mounted next to it to now...i've left the normal carpet on top but i have a plastic shaped subaru boot liner so its well protected.

thanks to Ad for help as always, sounds fantastic

Thats a really good looking sub!

You got a picture of it finished? Have you raise the boot floor or does it just stick up in the middle?

i'll try and take some pics this afternoon when i get in from work...yes the boot level has gone up slightly but the boot liner makes it all fit nicely

Thats excelent as you wouldn't even know it's there!

May make something similar out of MDF to sit under my carpet. I could do with a boot liner too as my carpet is rather shabby.

Dude,
I've done a diy install in my wagon, amps under the passenger seat and the 12" is in a custom enclosure that sits on the spare wheel and is hidden under the boot floor.

The original thread is here but the pics have timed out, if you can hang on until the weekend I'll update the pics or mail them to you.

Cheers
Dave

Dude,
The clicky links should work on this thread now.
It's not the prettiest install in the world, and I'd probably add another layer of glass if I were to do it again, but it seems to work ok.
