I will be taking the roof scoop off...
...when I get round to it along with the 101 other things that's on the list
And here's the latest addition (and I don't mean the steering wheel )...

Cheers guys...
...I would like to point out, I didn't put the scoop on... but I will be taking it off
Body work is the very last thing on my list of things to do... I need to get it TOTB worthy for next year before the body work gets sorted.
John,
what you doing on here?
You should be knee deep in elbow grease getting your Type R back on the road... where it belongs
You going to Scooby Shootout this year? I could do with some support
BTW... you missed an "interesting" meet today, has anyone informed you that you've been volunteered to sort a LADS day out at 3 Sisters racetrack? (And no, Im not joking)

I often lurk around on here!
Im still awaiting a delivery from the states with the all important pistons and rods! Going to do all i can in the mean time such as fitting the gearbox after a strip down at TEG, rebuild the heads etc...
I'd like to say i was taking part in SS but im not committing to anything this year as i just want to get my car up and running again, bedded in and mapped for some grin factor!
Regarding the meet, great, think i will be missing a few more now! Will have to get some prices together of 3 sisters and the place in warrington.

I saw your post on 22b that the company in Yankville had c****d up your order. Typical
What are you getting Stuart to do? Their new rolling road should be operational in a few weeks... Nice to have one 10 minutes from my house
I think 3 Sisters has been mentioned because a few people want to do an outdoor circuit. I've been before and done an endurance race there before... Id be up for another do Nice to be asked though eh? Press-ganged come's to mind

The c0cked up order wasnt as bad as i first thought so the order is going ahead, although i wouldnt have been able to cancel the Pauter rods as theyre being made to order, fingers crossed they should be here very soon!
Regarding the gear box a couple of synchros required changing so let one of Stuarts guys do it, good place with guys in the know at very good rates.
Karting, it has been mentioned that i should organise the next one but nothing solid, 3 sisters would be good but obviously we would have to be lucky with the weather and i personally dont like the idea of team racing, the other only option is the grand prix and thats a 20 minute race so not very long for your money.
Speed Karting in Warrington looks good as an option, im hoping there will be enough of us interested to make it a private hire do. Will post it up on LADS and see what people would prefer...
