We sometimes pick up our God children from their primary school when their parents have commitments they can't shake. One of the other parents there also has a green classic wagon, a facelift, though she insists it is in a non-turbo. Maybe had a bonnet replacement?

We both love our Subarus and she, like us, is happy to pay to keep hers on the road. These cars have a way of getting under your skin...

Nearly opposite the school is a gaggle of motor engineers and body repairers in small workshops who tend to specialise in restoring old motors. We took the opportunity to get an estimate on wheel arch and sill repairs and some pretty extensive paint, ready for Scooby's 25th birthday.
