Default That was lucky!

So driving home from work I heard a loud noise as 2-3 pieces of tree branch dropped into the front of the car, then half a second later this happened....

Feeling a bit sore today as the branch hit my wrist and leg as it came in the car, but thanking my lucky stars it didn’t come in a few inches to the right!

The car needs some TLC but didn’t come off too bad

Incredible. Glad you're ok.
Hope you and the car get fixed up quickly.
Looks like a scene from "final destination"...

Jeez that's bad. Judging by the wood I'd say that tree has been dead for some time so if the home owner has allowed it to remain hanging over a pavement or road, then I think I'd be speaking with them and not my insurance! That could very easily have been multiple funerals rather than a few car parts

Even better if the tree is the council’s responsibility. Quick call to a solicitor and a compo payout could be in order!

I’m not usually one for the compo route, but as above, that could have been fatal.
