do like a wide arched wagon!!
quite a lot of performance cars look decent as wagons, b5 rs4, rs2, e36/e46 m3 conversions (there's a nice e92 m3 touring on the bay at the mo) old escort combi rs turbos

Edit. Thinking on it. I suppose the underrated hatchback is the logical step onwards from the wagon which of course does have an sti version.

Amen to that
Fully forged 2.5 Blob wagon, once I have AP front brakes and whiteline ARB’s fitted, saloon front end conversion will be next
(Got all the parts, need to get fitted!!!)

They made Bugeye Wagons although they are a bit of a half-way house as they still maintain the WRX track width IIRC.
I have wondered whether it would be easier to convert an STi saloon into a wagon, rather than swap everything across from an STi saloon to a wagon? Presumably the body only changes past the C pillar? Is the tailgate and saloon boot the same dimensions? Can't be a massive amount of work to cut the wagon tailgate section post C pillar and graft it onto a saloon.

Thanks for the above comments on mine, got a few more little bit to do on the exterior but going to start on the engine side of things soon as it’s now at 130km and has started to loose a few ponies from under the bonnet.
