Watched a youtube video showing you can use normal spray cans not heat paint.

Default Centre trim change

After 2 years the vent piece started to bubble wasn’t too bad but not good enough for my car
so I got another set and had it resprayed in anthracite to break up the carbon dipped look I’m very pleased with it for the moment
Few pics as alwYs

You can see the bubbling on the left vent side most

Till next time...

Uggggggghhhhhhh. When a solution causes another problem. Replaced the boot seal today, however one of the poxy boot strut fixings has fallen apart inside the boot lid and now I can't screw it back down.

Any ideas guys? I'm at a loss on this one as you can't access the inside of the wagon boots in any way at all and now have a broken strut pus a rattling nut inside it

Edit. Took the plastic trims off the inside of the boot lid off and managed to get the strut nut out. Not just need to figure out how to weld it back on INSIDE the flipping boot lid , what an absolutely crap design.

Edit 2. Ended up drilling the nut hole out so the nut fits inside then welding around the nut to fix it again, then put some touch up pain over it to cover the bare metal back up. Hardly ideal having to do all that but it's done now.

[QUOTE=Moley;11961604]Not an Impreza unfortunately, but fitted an OMP steering wheel and modified gear shifter to my Clio track car

Molly,

Which Clio is this? I have a 197 sat around doing nothing. I’m tempted to strip it out completely. Spend little money on modding it. Then just thrash it on track. I would be curious to know which model you have, how you find it on track? Is yours heavily modded as well? I really don’t want to chuck a load of cash at it but then don’t want to get rid of either. Could be a nice little cheap toy!?!?!?! What do you think?

The car is a normal 172

It's had quite a few mods - but with DS2500 pads, Brembo HC discs, lowering springs and decent tyres that's all you need as a base for good fun track car.

It isn't the quickest, but it's probably the most fun I've had on track.
