Default New Member - My 2001 UK300

Hello everyone, I joined the site yesterday so I thought it was about time I said hi and showed off my UK300. Purchased the car off my best mate at the weekend as I was looking for a Impreza and he needed the cash for doing up his house so it worked out well for the both of us. Currently running 345bhp with the vision of reaching 400bhp here she is:

Loverly. I had 178 for about 4 years running 336bhp. Love the looks and very quick car at that power. Id love another one. What plans you got for it?

First thing I plan to do is tidy her up a bit, the exhaust is blowing slightly and the rear top mounts need replacing as there is a knocking on the suspension. Then I need to get the rust round the rear arches sorted out, the passengers side is not too bad but the drivers side has started to become noticable unfortunately. Once I have done all that I will go from there really..........

You need stop posting pics mate because makes me want sell my blob and buy another. I had my front splitter painted 02c blue and made a big difference to front end just depends if you want to keep it original.

sorry mate, I originally wanted a blob but this shape has really grown on me and now I love it! Don't really plan to change the exterior much, just get rid of the rear arch rust and tidy it up a bit

As far as I'm aware that knocking is front the struts themselves not mounts.

I've bought both the shocks and the rear mounts now as I might as well change both anyway, plus it will now have matching shocks front and rear as well as matching Tein springs
