Quick cars those Megane RS, I couldn't shake one from my back bumper years ago in my 380bhp Impreza STi, not sure what was done to it but if it was standard I would very impressed!!

I've owned both a ph.2 R5 GT turbo and ph.2 205 GTI 1.9..... Incredible, amazing fun cars of their time.

R5 reliability left a lot to be desired. Went through about 4 clutch cables snapping, (due to the tortuous route it took on the right hand drive cars). Plus turbo-IC hose would often pop off, and ultimately split over time. Prob went through about 3. But never had any engine issues, despite me giving that damn thing death virtually everyday.

205, nothing went wrong. Once again, showed it no mercy.

LOL my brother had 2x 5 GTT and when 1x broke he would swap all the parts from one to the other, but clutch cables where a common thing and if you went anywhere you always had to have your tool box and some spare parts(fan belt, clutch cable)

When the cable snapped, and the car would stall when coming to rest, I would put the car in 2nd gear, turn the key, and it would effectively bump-start itself......kangaroo-stylee lol.

PowerWRX, nice choice of car. They handle extremely well and that shape is supposedly better screwed together than the last shape. I had the last shape and it was a extremely capable. Yes its French and yes things can go wrong but I can honestly say my previous BMW 330, VW polo and 2 VW Golf GTIs all gave me more problems than the Meg did in the 5 years I owned it.
