Some further progress today...
Got the car out
Swapped the centre caps to STI ones
And tidied up the rear disc that had started to rust... Still have the pax side to do

The AD08R’s perform much better on track, handle the heat better and have a stiffer side wall. This comes at the cost of some compliance but I happily use them as an all round tyre like many others.

Cleaned up the pax side rear disc
Pretty happy with how they look now
I’m contemplating doing the ‘free caster mod’ if anyone’s done it I’d be keen to hear your thoughts

One thing I’ve always wanted to do to the car is change the steering wheel...
After much deliberation... Damd or retrim the OE wheel
I decided to have the OE wheel retrimmed by Royal Steering Wheels. Really happy with the result, very high quality.
I went with black alcantara with black stitching.
Easy to swap too..
Cars just about there now, a few bits to tidy up then off to RCM for a service.

Yes I have a ceramic coated LM400 with RCM equal length headers and RCM parallel fueling. Mildly mapped atm to about 360bhp. A little bit more lag than the VF but so much more power and torque consistently through the full rev range. I'm hoping to cut some lag with a 20% meth mix and see where I can push the power on a standard top mount, maybe 420ish?

Many thanks for the reply, I'm considering changing mine at some point, I had some on an old Citroen Saxo and the vibrations drove me mad, however my Impreza isn't my daily and I think I can live with it!

Looking great! Just needs more power now as its been highlighted above. I am looking to sell my LM400 soon to go for an MD321V TS at some point so that could be an option there for you? The car has been running 400/400 for quite some time now and is really responsive and to be honest I'm probably silly going for a larger turbo. Regardless, if you are looking into turbos I think something along the lines of a 400 bhp turbo are going to be the best should you want to keep in with OE driveability, reliability and relatively fast spooling characteristic the JDM cars have.
The steering wheel looks great too, freshens up the interior quite a bit!
