Hi Daz you got a great build blog here! And loads of really helpful info
I have a Ver 4 Type R with a fully forged 2.5 to drop in but like yourself i have the ver5-6 head's and phase 2 inlet manifold.

Do you have the measurements of that billet alloy block you had machined for the IACV??
And how you plug the Old Iacv hole above the throttle body ?

    Cheers mucker Dec

sos forgot to mention:stiv3 heads measured at 48cc chamber capacity, and cp pistons have 22 dish vol, doing the maths using this:
    http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/compstaticcalc.html i get a comp ratio of 8.32:1 with 0.8mm gasket,
    7.99:1 using 1.3mm gasket
    7.8:1 using 1.6mm head gasket
can you remember what thickness gasket you used on yours and would 0.8mm be safe inyho cheers Al.
