hi bud thanks for the reply. what im thinking is maybe the engine has been replaced with a v1 sti? the wagon is a uk 1 according to model code etc. but it pulls too well and boosts too well i think to be a standard engine. from what ive read the v1 sti,s didnt have red top inlets and the pics ive seen they look identical to a uk phase 1? or is it just wishful thinking on my part lol

331.8 at 1.2 bar is nice , shame its not holding boost tho, i still have no idea what mine will make , and the job hunt continues for now applied for 30+ in the last 2 weeks , i dono if the vent tray will fit or not but would be greatly appreciated if it fits, need to get mine back up to richard to get it re-mapped at 1.5 bar ,then will pray for my gearbox and clutch lol

I think the ones on my car are different to yours Bud but you are welcome to it, if it fits. Rich came to map mine on thursday night and it turned into a bit of a mare as the fuel rails were leaking and I needed to replace one of the fittings. Richard's missus brought fittings for my car at 23:30 I am indebted to both of them as they stayed there till 02:30am and Rich only left mine at 03:00am Friday morning, such dedication and patients goes way beyond anything I have ever come across before and its a big thanks to both of them.
The car made 331.8bhp and 315 ft/pds torque on the rollers at 1.2 bar as it wasn't holding boost Rich said it will make 340+ if it could hold 1.4bar, so it looks like its a bigger turbo and a better manifold and up pipe, Harvey here I come.

any chance i could nab your alumininum one if your removing ? let me know what you want for it , hopefully will have a job soon and yea would be good to get them both on rollers same day.

I made one out of aluminium but there is no drain on it, I am going to remove mine and make use of the vents. I am also going to replace the heads on my one at some point as I am not happy with the noise from the pressent ones.
I would like to see what power it's making first so I will fit the injectors and have Richard do the map with the std td05, then compare it to the power from a better set of heads and bigger turbo. Maybe get the 2 cars on the rollers the same day.

not to bad car is all good (I need a bonet drain for passanger side) under vent where i kinda mullered the one there for intercooler pipe, and im now looking for a job , but hopefully will be sorted soon , need to get the car on the rollers after all
