Hi Mate, am new to the site and recently bought myself a classic with a few mods, etc. did a search `Chiswick` as that's where I live and your posts popped up. Where are u based mate? Also got a carbon fibre bonnet which has seen better days... would like to pick your brain on this as you seem to know what you`re doing as per the other posts. Look forward to hearing from you, Hari

hi steve managed to get the subaru letters off. bloody hell what a job it turned out to be.

went to halfords and they had some gormless girl who didnt know what a clay bar was and couldnt find one for me, so in the end i bought some surface cleaner and t cut to clean the sticky residue off.

now my finger tips are killing and lol im freezing. the whole car needs a clean and a polish now, looks a right mess, specially since just the lettering area is clean.

can still see the edges of some letters faintly, but thats just me being picky.

    thanks for your help.

    looks loads better.

thanks so much for that lol i'll get down to halfords, should be ok might be able to get trade discount on it too hehe

as for the race formula ill have a chat with my mapper on the day, i was just thinking of using it without actually getting it mapped for the addtive. i.e. just for the safety feature as my car does get a lot of stick, plus it could come in handy when i cant find v power.

ive got a funnel with a spout on the end of it and an old lil measuring jug, so should be able to measure the contents at the petrol station fairly quick along with getting it in without a mess.

thanks again for your help, any problems and i'll message ya.

    p.s. awesome looking car!

cheers steve, top instructions, i'll give it a go on the weekend sounds straightforward, although is a claybar necesssary? as i dont have one?

    also another question lol

ive got loads of the nf race formula bottles from when i used to use it in my non mapped classic..

anyway noticed you, use 100ml. is that every tankful or once a month?

and is it mapped for the formula? or do you just use it for the safety features?

got my mapping coming up and plan on using it in small quantities for the safety feature afterwords (going to be mapped for v power)

out of experience would you say 50ml per tank is not enough? 100ml best?

    Many Thanks

yeah i was referring to them, perfect, they the same as what i ordered! look the dogs doo das fitted.

another quick question.. how did you get the subaru letters taken off the boot? and did you need to buff the boot once they were off? or just a simple wash?

    cheers
