Hi terry. maybe uyou can help me. i purchased a second hand p1 today no 181 with 78.000 but had a rebuild in 2009 at advanced automotive bristol. So i was hoping i found a good p1. Went down to plymouth to collect from an army barracks and inspected vehicle all looked ok. oil , wheels tyres breaks etc. started up ok. had a little test drive round the baracks all ok. buy car and set of dow the m5 back to bath where i live.. 1st thing i notice is indicator flashing quick on right get out to inspect and not working. after unscrewing i notice its not even plugged and without bulb. proceeded on to halfords and checked all lights which i no i should of done. anyhow main lights werent plugged in either or should i say attached to battery. after doing all this lights all work . the guy did mention summit about draining battery so he disconects at night. strange as alarm cant be on either as my button unlock with my key isnt working to alrm car.
