Default Rally Light Pod from Subaru 22b

Greetings to all!) Write through an interpreter, so I know how bad English) I live in Russia and all of my life and it's Subaru rally. Because in our country the harsh climate and the ideal conditions for racing at all times of the year. My car's Old Sculli gc8. I am 22 years. Here I go with the Subaru 19 years. Everything I do with her, I'm only doing their own hands. So reliable, and so I am more confident in my car. My principle is, if you want something done, do it yourself.
This winter I went to the races at night, and the old light from the Light Pod me was not enough.

I have long dreamed of the headlights as 22b (wrc s5). But no where in google could not find links to the sites of its sale. And just do it exists today. And I decided to make a 100% copy of carbon fiber with the development from scratch. Let me just say that neither any experience manufacturing parts made of composite materials I have. Everything I do, I do the first time in my life. In this process, look at the photos, but do not judge strictly.
All I had before work are photos from the Internet.

Then I went to work.

to be continued ))

It looks very good, but if you are using the original smaller lights, why not make it smaller to clear the headlights?

Are you running with a front mount intercooler as it badly blocks the scoop?

with a scoop neckline. And that did not close the original headlights. But this is not a copy. I'll ride with her only night races. On that my job is to make 100% original ) I have a top mount, but I plan to make a V-mount as it barely covers the scoop.

Today, completely blinded and led two recesses for locks on horizontal planes. Perhaps it was the hardest thing in the whole work.

Yes, I'm Russian))), but with delivery right now there is not any problem) I just could not find it so sold on the internet) I've been on this site, http://www.subaruwrcspares.com/16.html and Rodney told me they do not have it in stock)) And that's about http://rallytech.co.uk I did not know, since the goods from it does not appear in Google.
But I think it's for the better, as it would come out much more expensive as my budget is $ 100, the more I want to make it out of carbon fiber, with the details of which sellers always give it a very high price)
Here are a few photos from work done by me.
In my possession were two photos are not on the car, and close photographed by a man who apparently bought it) I had a hard time find them on the Internet)

In my possession as there modelc 22b Monte Carlo Japanese firm Tamiya, and I often use it as a clue.

Contours almost set up, will soon begin phase rounding all the corners and edges.

Some photos of my success. Chandelier abuts in all places very close to the hood. The main forms are ready by 90%. Left quite a bit different finish so pleasant things. But thank God greatly ene have shkurit in large volumes.

When you make a copy of you realize how all thoughtfully at Prodrive. Cut-out at the bottom of lamps that are on the bumper so they were below should not be tight, so that when striking the bumper at the rally did not arched up into the chandelier and it broke.

For fun ... I tried it on my main machine

and a few photos which I rely

Over the weekend I have a lot of time to plan. Thank you for your attention!) Subaru brothers!

Of course it will be shot for 1 minute. I'll buy quick-locks. And I will make the chip on the wire, so you can disconnect them.

This is not the end, but the final is on the horizon.
The beginning cut-bumper, so that the chandelier fell as it should in the case of the hooks he broke the bumper when it is moving.
Just adjacent to the hood all the edges were withdrawn without an absolute disgrace 0 horizontally and vertically using a digital level.
Was puttied front, and any other visible surface of 90% of the total area of the chandelier.
The remaining 10% remained at the very very end, those internal parts necessary for the proper removal and beautiful matrix.
All started rounding the corner and draw horizontal holes for locks in pursuit of 100% similarity with the original Prodrive.
