Change wrx fog lights to spots
I'd like to put spotlights on my wrx but am not keen on adding a pair to the bumper, has anyone changed the fog light bulbs to spot bulbs and wired it to work with full beam?

If only it were so easy.
It's nowt to do with the bulbs, mate, it's the lights themselves that decide what type of light they will be:
earlier cars, the glass lens, and on later, so called "crystal" lights, the reflector.
Sorry, but your only hope is to swap the foglights out for a set of driving lights, (not usually spotlights, the beams are just too narrow.)
Various types were available, PIAA, Cibie and Hella. Do a few searches, someone might still be selling some.
The Hellas were the 1000ff units, and took an HID H1 kit which makes them AMAZING.
