Question Replacement lamps - classic morette headlights?

Afternoon all,

Having stripped the front of my 1998 classic Scoob to replace the rotten bumper beam I've noticed that the 4 original Morette Cibie headlight lenses are pretty corroded.

Doing a search it seems the inners are nigh on impossible to get (5 inch H2 spotlight) as Cibie don't make them anymore, and the place that used to sell them (cars-gb.com) aren't trading anymore.

A quick Google search brings up an Ebay shop - Bolt On Bits in Bradford that claims to have replacements from Hella. Anyone ever used Bolt On Bits - any opinions either way appreciated?

Or any alternative suppliers of the inner lamps?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Full-Outer...item35bee563ae

Thanks,
Steve

AFAIK, the lamps shown are a direct replacement. Hella are pretty good.

Is there a contact number for the place selling them?

I got the bolt on bits outers. They seem OK, but don't expect much in the way of feedback from the company. Rude bar-stewards who refused to answer multiple questions before. Maybe they have upped their game.

There is: Telephone: 01274 688 388 (Office hours)

Joey, that doesn't sound too good. Their Ebay feedback looks ok, but I gather that negative feedback gets binned anyway (I've never bought off Ebay so am going on 2nd hand info!)

Give them a ring, buy with a credit card.

If they are offhand, rude etc on the phone, don't buy.
