Why would you would you want to buy the ecu when open source requires no licence fee?

Indeed, I would say get your current ECU mapped! £300 all in including dyno time from me if that helps!

That is a very good point, i am trying to over come a problem, ive built up my blobeye from a rolling shell but can not start it, i bought a standard ecu and had a local subaru garage comeout and code it to the key for me, but the problem is it now will not start, the fuel pump runs but it will only fire the plugs and pulse the injectors once on the first crank of the engine and then not again at any time.

I have tried all other options and now want to eliminate the posibility that the imobiliser is stopping it from starting.

Does any one know if the imobiliser will allow the engine to fire only once???
