Default White plug ECU help

Hello All !
I imagine that this subject was discussed a lot, but unfortunately I need to ask for help.
I bought a MY94 1.8l AWD Impreza used in rally and I will continue using it for rally. The original engine broked and was replaced by a EJ20.
I'm rebuild the harness and my problem is with the ecu harness. I simply cannot find the correct ecu wiring. I got the ECU to a subaru shop and they told me this ECU is for a Legacy 2.0 or 2.2 AT or MT 1996/1997 (remember my car have a EJ20). ECU is labled 22644 AA070 and A56-000 R29 with a big 4J (all in blue). I have the service manual for legacy from 1995 to 1999, impreza 1994, 1997, 1998, but none of them have the correct wiring for this ecu. It is a big white plug with 88 pin and a screw in the middle. I found plug with 96 pin, 3 plugs, 4 plugs, but not like mine.
Has anyone ever seen this plug? Where can I find the ecu pinout or ecu wiring?
Thank you a lot !!

Thumbs up

That would be great. I have looked everywhere. There are currently four guys looking for the pinout and no one has found it. I need it to get my little project running.

Thanks

Ernie

Thanks Smiler-Wrx. But, mine is not on that site. I sent an email to Subaru of Australia. They say the twin turbo Liberty was never imported into their country. I am trying sites in Japan.

Thanks

Hi smiler-wrx !
thanks, but mine isn't too. My engine came from Japan and most of the information on the net is for USA.

Ernie, I went to a subaru dealer and ask for a wiring, but they do not have services manual for legacy from 1994 to 2000. Can you believe it?
I'm talking with some guys on Argentina and Chile. Their subarus came from Japan too.
I downloaded the Autodata 2005 software. Have you heard about it? I installed database for Germany, and I can find the model I was looking for. But no wirings..... The database is only european. No Japan or Australia or South America. Maybe on 2006 or 2007 versions. I'm downloading them. Maybe tomorrow I can install them... I'll keep you informed.

Good luck. I started my project five years ago and would like to get it on the street before I am too old to enjoy it.

Any update on this?
I have a Legacy TT GTB 1997 and need to read the ECU cos I got a check engine light.
I found a Grey connector for the ECU but dont see any connectors on the market that will allow me to check the codes.
Please help, also if anyone has a workshop manual I would be super grateful.

Hi Luis_Lange and ej20tt, did either of you ever find the wiring diagram for the 88-pin "white plug" ecu? I'm also looking for it
Thanks
Dale
