So I'm new here, but the story goes as follows:

Bought a 2004 WRX impreza, had some problems with the dealer over the fact he gave me the wrong VIN, but the car checked out fine, no accidents, no bad history.

I was driving along decelrating and the CEL came on, so the next day I go to get it checked out by autovalue. They tested the code, and I forget what the code itself was (should have written it down) but it was somehting along the lines of a fuel leak, and I should check my gas cap...

So I replace the gas cap, he clears the code, and I'm on my way. Tonight just cruising in the country it came on again, just randomly, out of nowhere. I wasn't driving hard or anything.

Now, I realize this is really quite usless without the code, but I was hoping someone has encountered this problem before with it being some sort of a fuel system problem and also hoping there is somewhere I can search the code to try and find the exact problem.

Any help is much appreciated, as I'm practically pulling out my hair that my new purchase (alot of money for an 18 year old) is having problems, which is why I got rid of my dumper old car...

Also, I notice the idle sometimes goes up and down, feels a little rough. Is this normal? or could this be associated with the CEL problem I am having...

Again, another litte thing that I knew was a problem with the vehicle... Front passenger window only works from master switch, and rear passenger window only goes down from master switch, and up/down with the switch on that specific door... What could this be? I install car audio for a living, so the one door I can guess is just unplugged since they had the doors off to tint it (prev. owner), but I cant guess why the switch only goes one way on passenger rear?
