sti v5 with keyless entry fault
#1
folks,
anyone out there able to help me with a dilemma...
My alarm installer blew the central locking (factory fit keyless entry) on my STI v5 4dr..probably with an electronic 'probe'.
I forked out 120 notes to have a new one sent from japan and this appears to be faulty also - :-(
I subsequently had the factory fit central locking bypassed and the doors etc. are now operated by the alarm fob instead - still not a 100% perfect solution as I can't trigger the door locks all together from inside the car now.
I now wish to try the suspect controllers in someone else's sti v5 (5 minute job to plug in) but don't know anyone with a scooby with keyless entry like mine. This would eliminate the possibility that the new part is also faulty - Anyone out there willing to meet up ?
hoping someone will oblige
cheers,
Paul W
