Your best bet is probably Philips Vision Plus 50% brighter bulbs, from Autolamps, where they'll do you a set of blue sidelights for free.

The others have been discussed on here ad infinitum: they don't last very long, they melt the connectors, they can burn reflectors etc etc.
Do a search and you'll see what I mean.
I have the above bulbs in mine, and standard bulbs in the main beams, plus Scoobysport HID driving lights, and I'm happy: I'd LIKE HID's in the Morettes, but can't stretch to the price.................sigh.

so u got phillips in dip form and side lights, HId additional driving and standard main beam. it that right?

i'll look into phillips then, thanks.

oh btw, im not too bothered about the way they look (blue vision) but are the blues a better bet then premium for output? cos the blues are cheaper...

No if you want simply performance go Visionplus. However the Vision plus are hotter than you standard halogens (hotter just means colour, nothing else). Std halogen 3200K VP 3800K. This means we upgrade your side light or city light to a higher temperature to match. ie W5W Bluevision or the same in T4W.

The BlueVision is if you want a slight Blue effect but they do not match the performance of the VP range.

They're free if you order the PVP bulbs.

I have the H4 Osram 4000K Blues in my outers, they have been fine. I was considering a 100w upgrade to the centres though. No problems with the loom as its seperate wiring. Has anyone else done this?
