Hello all,
Just a quick question, I've used search but all I could find was this question but with no answers! So I thought I'd try again...
The passenger side electric window on my UK MY98 has decided to stop working (from both switches, the passenger one and the drivers side one - and before you say it - that little button *isn't* pressed! ) . You can hear the motor start working and then it stops without the window moving.
I've taken the handle off the door and it all seems to be connected properly - any more ideas or do I have to resort to the dealer?
Thanks
Jen

Hi Jen
Had similar thing happen last year on Driver's window. After having removed the interior door panel i found the window had come adrift from it's runner right in the bottom far corner & also the window motor bolts were quite loose.
Luckily with the help of a neighbour and from what i can remember, some awkward fiddling around managed to get window back on runner, put some new bolts in to tighten up motor & touch wood,ok.
Another tip is mind you don't trap any wires when window goes up & down as my alarm door sensor wire was damaged also.
Hope this helps in some way
Regards Duracell
