Default Strange Electricla Problem. Bad Earth/Immobiliser issue

Hello guys tonight i was driving home on the motorway and i switched full beam on and this is where all the problems started. I turned full beam on and my radio went off, Rev counter and speedo needles dropped and alarm came on. I turned full beam off and everything was fine. I got home and tried it again and same thing happened. I turned the car off and it wouldn't start, Immobiliser fob wouldn't do anything. I got out and then tried it again and everything is working as it should but my radio has reset, clocks reset, Trip has reset. Told could be battery on its way out or bad earth which I will check tomorrow morning but any other ideas is welcome. Cheers

Stephen

Sounds like a loose battery terminal. Check they are tight.
