Default Which Battery for classic wrx

What battery for phase 1 classic impreza. The battery is dead and will die after a few minutes of doors open and need to replace it.

Have read either bosch s4 024 or the optima red top is a good battery. Just wondering what the numvers were on the optima, found a few close to the bosch spec..

I'm interested in this Q, too.

I have an 11 month old RAC Varta job... Which can't provide enough cranking amps, if the car is left undriven for about 4 days in really cold weather.

I now like YUASA Silver, five year guarantee.

Halfords do them at £100+, you can have one delivered off the internet at around £63-£67.
