SN for facts and info, SI for chat/banter and slagging, posting stuff in here will always only attract N.Irish viewers which are covered by the other sites so whats the point really?
Simple...SN is the largest scooby community in the UK, same reason as a lot of folk use P1woc, NASIOC, 22b etc etc
SI was formed due to this section being too small to accomodate the need for Irelands members north and south......
Folk have now found that posting on EITHER of the 2 NI subaru sites, or the likes of ISDC to be more beneficial for day to day meets, chats, events, sales stuff, local dealer/supplier and service info.....
The idea that posting on SN is discouraged is absolute rubbish........but hey post away yet again to try and stir a debate or garner a reaction......
Member of visit both ScoobyIreland and Scoobynet on a daily basis. My time on here is mostly browsing NSR, browsing the photography section, Computer section or DIY projects. Have been a member on here since about 2005, read often, post only occasionally.
Nah, I asked a simple question, to be honest I didnt even know some folks held tinternet grudges.
I go on whatever forum I feel welcome and will be given the advice I sometimes ask for, nothing more, nothing less.
Simple question are usually the best and most effective I alway say.
"tinternet grudges" - that can also be referred to as "Behaving like little children"
To be fair lads and ladettes, I was only asking a question, regarding this site, there shouldnt really be a can of worms to open in the first place. We are all nearly mature adults (own subarus, hence nearly!)
Scott - perhaps forbidden isn't the right word, but I was told by more than one person about posting here
Let's go with "Encouraged not to" and "frowned upon then"

Now then that's it.
I heard that if you are suspected of using SN over at Si Towers as punishment they steal your keyboard and rearrange all the letters. Diabolical bastards!
