Default my project

Just thought i would give yous an update on my car just won a set of hks coilovers for my car
and on monday the car is going till ai autosport where they are taking the engine out. Then i am getting the car back so i can strip the underneath of the car and send everthing away till be powdercoated while thats being done it can be undersealed. Then when it come back i have a new set of polybushes till go in along with the coilovers so the car will be like new again.... hopefully ready for a six speed box but still souceing that. then it is off till the bodyshop where it will get tided up and then jonny and phill at ai autosport will hopefully have the engine ready to dropin in am keeping it secret though.
cant wait

thats hopefully wat the engine bay will look like when finished but the spec will be different

If you r still thinkin about that WR1 gearbox with diff control I found a controller on the net the other day that has it's own display so u wont need to worry about findin a new dash.

I will try and find it again 4 u.

After a great weekend at coolnights me and mark set of stripping the rest of the bits of the car this evening did not think we would manage till get so much done.
We started off by putting the car on the two post ramp and getting the wheels of and removing the exhaust system

Then we started at the rear of the car by taking the calipers off the the disc we then removed each suspenshion arm so we could get the hubs off. Once this was done we started with removing the diff and rear drive shafts and prop shaft then the sub frame was dropped out. Then we moved on till the front of the car where we basically did the same, apart from we had till drop the gearbox out and the steering rack this was the tricky bit just cause of the weight.

some of bits that we took out

Things that are still too be done are removing the suspension and air con and other brackets. then i will give it a proper clean under neath and fresh lick of paint.
Was thinking of powder coating all the suspension arms and subframes sti pink wat you think
