Compatible clock spring for an import (1998)

Compatible clock spring for an import (1998)
Looking for a clock spring for a 1998 JDM Impreza WRX Wagon. It has a standard Momo wheel but the clock spring from other classics do not appear to fit.
I need to know if anyone else has come across this issue before, I have asked my local Subaru specialist and they tried to fit an earlier clock spring but this was different.
Has anyone ever come across this issue, or knows of a JDM 1998 Impreza being broken which may have a clock spring still going? I would prefer a new one but if they turn out to be impossible to locate would consider a used one.

The part number I need is Steering roll connector - 98261FC012. Anyone know of anyone who stocks this. Local Subaru dealer want £470 for this part which does include labour but is till quite a crazy price.
