Default Interior re-trim

Im planning to square my car away fully, all the dings, scuffs, niggly problems etc. Overall the car is in good solid nick for its age, but I want to re-trim the seats and door cards myself.

Where can I get the material from, how much will I need and the cost?

Anyone who has done this on theirs, can you let me know the best place to start please.

Thinking black centre with brighter green (where the grey is now) possibly alacantra, with the same on the door cards, probably the green.

thanks,

kris

Last time I saw this asked, the reply was to use www.yell.com and look up "alcantara".

You gonna do it yourself? because if not, the upholsterer would know where to get stuff from?

Might be worth a bell anyway, look up upholsterers on yell.com.

Had a look near me yesterday for an upholsterer, he said "we dont do alacantra but ive got a lovely deal on some large flower print cotton, What size are your curtains?"

Then I explained what it was for, he then tried explaining that he couldnt give me any details for suppliers!

Ill try again though.

I am planning to do it myself, maybe. Cut costs a bit.
