Question

Ive always been a bit hesitant about getting my windows tinted cos ive seen disasters ie. Bubbled, corner flaps pealing off etc etc... I'll be changing my scoob in a bit so i want the windows done properly. Wheres the best place to get them done bearing in mind i love in S.Wales? and whats the proceedure? For instance do they take the actual windows out for the lamination process?

Regards
scrappy

Don't know about south wales but the procedue for mine was as follows
1. Fitter removed all interior door cards and rear seat.
2. File is offered up to the outside of the window and trimmed to size
3. Magic squirty stuff is sprayed on the inside and file slid into position
4. door cards put back on.
The reason for removing the interior is so that the film starts below the sqeagy thin on your windows so it dosn't catch and rub off.
Mine was £230 for all windows on MY01 apart from the windscreen in light smoke. Get them it keeps you car a lot cooler when you 1st get in.

Take a look at Pentagon Auto Tinting, I dont have there number handy but they are based in London and did an amazing job on my 5 dr, also had Supa Glass done and it works, had a failed attempted breakin due to the glass staying in one piece.

Good luck

Scrappy

There's a place in Barry that does tints. I had a price off them some time back of £25/window and £50 for rear. Never went through with it but my bro had his Scenic done and was very impressed.

Company based on Palmerston trading estate.
