dash removal
hi peeps.anybody have any info or know of a thread somewhere that explains removal of a my01 newage dash.I have one i want to flock in the shed but just wondered how bigger job it is,how long it may take and problems encountered ie airbag etc.cheers guys/gals.

hiya mate. i took mine out of my 2004 STi myself to get it flocked. and i refitted it. it was a real easy job. 1.5 hours each way. it really is very simple. i didnt come across any problems. but beleive me, when it is out, and you look at where it used to be you will crap yourself. it looks like a bomb has exploded. but its all ok. if you were closer i would do it for you. if you want detailed instructions on how to do it then pm me your email, and ill compose a how-to for you.

hiya dunx. its wearing very very well. looks just like it did when i installed it. im always cleaning it. but then, im always cleaning the car so i havnt noticed really. but it does attract dust a little more than a normal dash, but youd expect it too. to date its still one of, if not, THE BEST thing ive done.
and beleive me, when the sun is out, it works. its like driving with no windscreen. its strange. i love it

.il have a go as soon as the spare dash is flocked.by the way did you flock it? if so how or did you get it done,i mean is it a coating i could do myself.il pm you my email bud.
