Default Black interior trim

Has anyone attempted to spray the interior trim in their newage?
I realy like the look of the matt black colour in the S204 but i'm too tight to pay nearly £300 for the kit.
Just wondered if anyone had tried to do it?

Thanks

I wasn't to sure on how long the finish would last on the trims if I sprayed them so I had them flocked black instead.

Something a bit different and I am more than happy with the look and finish. So much so that I had all the a-pillars and headlining done to match.

Flocking all the grey bits of plastic trim costs about £60-£70.

I just used Halfords Grey Plastic primer, then satin black paint.

I do now have a couple of minor marks/scratches about 9 months on but the paint is so cheap I'll just do it again when I get the chance.

I did this mod a little while ago

I have also since sprayed the dials in chrome aluminium silver and got the black HVAC control overlays and it looks spot on now,so much better than the standard colour

I also carried out the red HVAC light mod aswell while i was at it so all the dash instruments are now the same colour
