Default Pro sport gauges (Beep)

I got these gauges fitted yesterday,by the mechanic i use and was wondering how to stop the beeping?I did a search and found a post on how to do it,but it doesn't seem to work.It says put key in ignition hold down button on gauge and turn key,but nothing changed for me.Any help on this would be great.

Press the button down, turn the ignition on, wait for the dial to go black then release the button, repeat for each gauge

Yes as the man said, I used a switched live so I knew they were off when i left the car,
I have to reset my boost limiter each time also due to this.

Yes sounds like you have wired them wrong. You need a perm live for the gauges to be able to remember things like max boost and warning settings. Above shows how i wired mine.

You have to hold for 5 secs after turning ignition on then let go on gauge you have fitted. I recently changed my battery and the beeping came back. If you done that then you must have them wired wrongly.
