Have 'lux' mats from dealer and carpet mated fitting point by drivers footwell has torn the flimsy carpet. It has also pulled awat from the boot/petrol cap release. I don't mind as I don't look at ti when I'm driving but I wondered if anyone knows of a source for replacement carpet sets in better quality material. I would welcome the chance to brighten up the interior a bit too.

Unhappy

The carpets and boot trim are pathetic!
I had better quality and fit in an Astra!

I have the Subaru rubber mats in the car and i have fitted a rubber boot liner the boot liner is fab, stops things sliding about!

The rubber mats only last around 35K, on my second set, saves the carpet thou'

Thumbs up

My carpet got ripped by the mats and it was replaced under warrenty. May be worth checking out if your still in the warrenty period. Firstly the dealer said no problem then when I took the car in they changed there mind. One short chat with the sales director later and it was changed.

Blues.

Thanks 'Blues'
I don't think I'll have a problem replacing under warranty.
My dealer already owes me a full valet as my car was left covered in waxoil after the yr1 body service and I made a song and dance bout it. I was really hoping I could source a specialist to custom make or supply a new carpet set of better quality and diff colour.
