Default JDM Spec C roof vent install Project.... 02 Prodrive edition bugeye

Following on from my last thread with the flocked WRC style dash, i wanted to go one step further to my WRC inspired car

You dont tend to see many people doing this on UK soil so i thought id bite the bullet and have a go. Ive just taken delivery of a full roof vent kit for my STI. All the parts are Genuine Subaru items and the vent was painted by subaru in Japan.

Obviously im not doing this tomorrow as i need to take my time when i do it, but I will post a full running installation thread.

Obviously this involves cutting a hole in my roof so maybe one or two **** clenching moments during instalation but i have faith

Check out my JDM lovelyness!!

Now then...
Where did i put that can opener

Frayz,

I'll be doing this mod very soon also (bugeye too), as a perfectionist, how would you fancy making a template up of the roof and where to cut it and I'm sure a few of us may purchase this off you for a few v-power tokens!

S!

Cheers Speccy..

Stalked..

i know what youre saying and i'll see when i do it however, i dont want to put myself in a position to be liable for someone cutting their roof in the wrong place.. tbh you just use the framework as a template anyway

Dont be daft.. there will be a big poly bag gaffer taped to the inside of the roof. So all debris will fall in there.

Nothing will be spilt in the car.

Don't suppose you know if those parts are available for classic shape imprezas?

I'm finding it really hard to find straight RAs - all I've seen are bodge repair jobs.

Want this for my UK car.

Does it reduce the bodyshell ridgidity and let us know if it leaks!

Good luck anyway.

Where does that bolt to mate, is it between the two rear strut turrets? and does it mean you have to remove the back seat?
