Steering wheel hub adapter for 2005 Impreza
Does anyone know of a steering hub adapter for a 2005 Impreza that I can mount a Momo wheel to?
The one that Momo sell says "for all Impreza's with airbags to 2007". But this is bollocks. They only fit the Classics with airbags, that have the single connector on the clock spring. The reason I know this is because I bought one for my Bugeye and had to double the size of the aperture with a Dremel, to accommodate the double connector on the Bugeye clockspring.
Gone to fit the wheel to my 2005 today and discovered that the airbag/horn connector on the clockspring is now a triple connector - so even wider!.
As far as I can tell, Momo make a MK7310R which they claim "fits Impreza 2003-2007" and comes with an airbag resistor. This is the one I already have. And MK7306 for cars without airbags.
So does anyone know of a different Momo hub that will fit the clockspring on the later cars or alternatively, a hub from another manufacturer, such as OMP, that will fit and is also compatible with aftermarket Momo wheels?
