So on my kenwood touch screen standard unit in the Impreza it says subwoofer and has a controller to turn up an down but doesn't really make an effect as the standard system seems very poor

Is this feature here if you was to install a subwoofer ? Or is there a standard sub mounted somewhere ?


Also second to this, anyone know the best setting on the equaliser for best bass lol

Didn't think there was lol, bass is non existent .
So the sub control is for if a aftermarket sub was fitted ?
Guessing there is connections at the back of the headunit for this

If you look in the states they sell subwoofer upgrades for the oe unit , not sure if it will work in a UK car but can't see why not and there made by kicker aswell ,, check eBay.com for them as they don't come up on .co.uk

Ah I see the standard sub , very expensive though . Might be worth getting a stealth enclosure instead
I'm guessing that you just run a standard wiring kit as usually to the back of the headunit then?
